Students unable to attain this minimum will be removed from the BBA program and switched to an Arts and Science open enrollment program. Once a student is able to raise their CGPA to the minimum 2.33, they can at that point email business@langara.ca to request reinstatement for the following semester. The deadline to submit reinstatement requests to take effect for Summer 2021 term is Monday, February 1st.

Important Notes:
A student who is reinstated into the BBA program after removal for below maintenance of standing requirements or suspension, must meet the program/curriculum requirements in effect the term they resume their studies in the BBA.

Students must achieve a minimum CGPA of 2.33 and a minimum 'C' grade in all core business-related third- and fourth-year courses (BCAP, BUSM, FMGT, INTB, or MARK courses numbered 3xxx or 4xxx) in order to graduate.

Tips for Course Planning

BBA and Diploma students should review their program requirements and progress at least once per term. Students are advised to refer to the unofficial Student Graduation Evaluation tool in myLangara to see how their previously completed and registered courses slot in to meet their program's requirements. It is important to note that the Student Graduation Evaluation tool allows you to view your program's requirements as of your program start date (also known as "catalogue term"). The program requirements publicly posted on the Langara website, by contrast, only reflect the most recent version of the program's curriculum.

Not sure what your program start date (or "catalogue term") is? Have a question about how a course is slotting in the Student Graduation Evaluation tool? Contact a Graduation Advisor to confirm at gradeval@langara.ca.

Reminder: ENGL 1123

Effective Fall 2020 term, ENGL 1127 has been replaced by the new academic writing course ENGL 1123.
